Your adventure begins in Hanoi, Vietnam's captivating capital, where centuries-old temples share the streets with French colonial boulevards and buzzing night markets. A guided city tour introduces you to the Old Quarter's 36 ancient trade streets, Hoan Kiem Lake and the Turtle Tower, the Temple of Literature, and Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum complex.
Day 2 takes you to Ninh Binh — often dubbed the "Halong Bay on Land" — for one of Vietnam's most scenic excursions. Glide by rowboat through the flooded karst valleys of Tam Coc, where limestone towers draped in jungle greenery rise dramatically from the water. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, home to 10th-century royal temples, and cycle through emerald rice fields framed by mountain ridges.
Day 3 is pure magic: Halong Bay. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the natural wonders of the world, Halong Bay mesmerises with over 1,600 limestone islands and islets jutting from jade-green waters. Cruise through this otherworldly seascape, explore hidden caves, kayak through secret lagoons, and watch the sun set over one of Earth's most extraordinary landscapes.

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi. After a short rest, begin your city tour of the Vietnamese capital: explore the atmospheric Old Quarter's 36 trade streets, stroll around the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple on Jade Island, pay respects at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex (exterior visit), and discover the 1,000-year-old Temple of Literature. End the evening with a street food walk through the vibrant night market. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, travel by coach to Ninh Binh (approx. 2 hrs). Visit Hoa Lu — Vietnam's first feudal capital — where 10th-century royal temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties stand among dramatic karst mountains. Continue to Tam Coc for a 2-hour rowboat journey through flooded rice fields flanked by towering limestone karsts — an experience often compared to a tranquil natural cathedral. Optional: cycle through the villages. Return to Hanoi in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

An early morning departure by coach to Ha Long Bay (approx. 3.5 hrs). Board your cruise boat and sail into one of the world's most spectacular seascapes.
